Cycling: A Historic Team and a Redesigned Jersey in the New TotalEnergies Colors, at the World’s Biggest Race

07/12/2021

Team TotalEnergies has set off on the 108th Tour de France, the world's biggest cycling race, which runs until July 18, 2021.

Over three weeks, our riders will take to the roads of France sporting the new TotalEnergies colors. The bright jersey design represents the energy journey and resolutely embodies TotalEnergies’ ambition of reinventing itself to become the leader in tomorrow’s energies (electricity, gas, solar, wind, etc.)

For six years now, TotalEnergies has been the title sponsor of one of the most popular cycling teams in France: Team TotalEnergies. We hope to see our riders at the front of the pack, and perhaps even score a stage win!

The French pro cycling team has unveiled its new name and its redesigned kit, which now features a white rainbow-striped jersey and red shorts. The new colors are a reference to TotalEnergies’ ambition to be a world-class player in the energy transition and get to net-zero emissions by 2050, together with society.

Team general manager Jean-René Bernaudeau had to make some strategic choices when selecting who could best represent our colors and reach our goals, which you can learn more about in this video.

This year, our main stage racers will be Pierre Latour, Anthony Turgis and Edvald Boasson-Hagen. The team started this Grand Tour with a well-matched group capable of excelling on both hilly and mountain terrain.

See you soon at the roadside and on social media!
