More energies

Exploration & Production

In E&P, our operations in Brazil are an example of the strategic focus on more energy and less emissions. Our portfolio includes 11 licenses, of which 4 are operated. The assets are mainly in ultra-deep areas and in the Campos and Santos Basins' pre-salt. In 2023, the Company's average production in the country reached approximately 135,500 barrels of oil equivalent per day.

Renewable energies

We have been active in renewables in Brazil since 2013. In October 2022, we entered into a partnership with Casa dos Ventos, Brazil leading renewable energy player, to jointly develop a renewable portfolio with a cumulative capacity of 12 GW by 2030.

Gas & green gas

In 2021, we signed an agreement with Compass, one of the main players in the gas distribution business in Brazil, to supply up to 3Mt/year of LNG to the regasification terminal at the Port of Santos. In line with TotalEnergies' ambition to cement its position as the world's third largest LNG producer, we continue to look for opportunities in this segment in the country.
