TotalEnergies On is our dedicated accelerator for start-ups specializing in the electricity sector. Since 2022, this program has been helping us achieve our ambitions in electricity, an energy with a key role to play in the transition to a lower-carbon world.
Ever since the program was launched in June 2022, TotalEnergies On has guided dozens of start-ups developing innovative solutions across the electricity value chain, especially in such areas as renewable electricity generation, energy storage, distributed energy management, trading, power retail, and electric mobility.
The start-ups selected after the calls for applications are supported for six months, with preferential access to TotalEnergies’ teams, experts, infrastructures and customers, so that they can trial their products and services. They also benefit from entrepreneurial mentoring in collaboration with the HEC business school and the Station F ecosystem, the world's largest start-up campus.
By joining TotalEnergies On, startups can test their solutions in a real-world setting, collaborate with TotalEnergies teams, and thereby facilitate their scaling up. It also offers them a unique opportunity to gain visibility, both within the Company and across the energy sector as a whole.
Following their time in the accelerator program, three startups were acquired by TotalEnergies (Dsflow, NASH, and Predictive Layer), and more than half of the alumni startups have signed a commercial contract with the Company. The 10 start-ups in the 7th cohort are currently in the pilot phase.
A new cohort of 10 startups has joined our program based at STATION F. Over the next 6 months, they will be able to work closely with our experts and use our resources and data to validate their solutions and accelerate their growth.
For the sixth time, a new wave of startups specializing in the renewable energies and electricity sector has joined the TotalEnergies On acceleration program with the goal of harnessing innovation to advance the energy transition.
Every 6 months since its creation in 2022, the TotalEnergies On acceleration program selects the most promising start-ups in the electricity and renewable energies sector in order to support them towards a common ambition: to put innovation at the service of the energy transition and particularly of decarbonized electricity.
The TotalEnergies On program is on track! Nearly two years after its inauguration, our accelerator for startups in the electricity and renewables business is welcoming its fourth selection of successful candidates. Even though no two startups are alike, the program's objective remains the same, namely harnessing innovation to drive carbon-free electricity. In June 2022, TotalEnergies inaugurated "TotalEnergies ON", its new start-up accelerator center designed to help the Company support innovation to develop its growth in electricity and renewables. Six months later, at the Demo Days, the time has come to assess of the first cohort of start-ups.
TotalEnergies welcomes the first 10 startups enrolled in its new TotalEnergies ON acceleration program at Station F in Paris. Building on TotalEnergies' ambition of cementing its status as a world-class player in leading the energy transition, the TotalEnergies acceleration program is aimed at startups offering innovative and especially digital solutions throughout the electricity value chain.
