TotalEnergies in Taiwan

We supply Taiwan with liquefied natural gas (LNG) under a purchase agreement for 0.8 million tons per year for 20 years. The gas is sourced from the production of our Ichthys LNG project in Australia.

We operate (49%) the Taiyang license spanning an acreage of 24,000 square kilometers spread over the deep waters of mainland China and Taiwan (600 to 3,000 meters deep).

In Taiwan, we market to our business customers:

• Automotive, industrial and marine lubricants.
• Special fluids.
• Additives and special fuels.
• Petrochemicals, some of which are sourced from our Qatari and South Korean joint ventures.
• Solutions designed by our wholly-owned affiliate Hutchinson, which specializes in sealing, fluids management, anti-vibration systems, and acoustic and thermal insulation.
