The seventh edition of the Viva Technology exhibition was held in Paris from June 14 to 17, 2023. As one of the event's partners, TotalEnergies was present through TotalEnergies On, its electricity start-up accelerator. The event proved to be the ideal opportunity to meet some of the start-ups.
2023 is shaping up to be record-breaking year for the Viva Technology exhibition, which was held in Paris from 14 to 17 June. Aimed at accelerating innovation by connecting startups, tech leaders, major corporations and investors, VivaTech saw more than 150,000 visitors walking its aisles for the show's seventh edition.
An edition for TotalEnergies to put electricity in the spotlight
Every year, VivaTech gives TotalEnergies the opportunity to showcase its innovations for accelerating the energy transition. In 2022, the Company's Lab gave pride of place to the TotalEnergies Digital Factory. In 2023, the Company gave centre stage to TotalEnergies On, its acceleration program for start-ups developing innovative solutions in the electricity business.
Nineteen startups were present at the stand to unveil their products and celebrate the program's first anniversary. Since June 2022, TotalEnergies On has been delivering support to startups pioneering the cutting-edge technologies needed to electrify the energy mix in the following areas: renewable electricity production, energy storage, energy distribution, electricity trading, electric mobility, and solutions for the general public.
