The Amiral Project: integrating a petrochimical platform on SATORP

Infographic presenting all the activities planned on the Amiral petrochemical complex, integrated into the SATORP refinery.

The Amiral project is a petrochemical complex with a mixed-feed cracker capable of producing 1.65 million tons of ethylene per year. The facility also has two polyethylene lines, each with a capacity of 500,000 tons per year.

Ultimately, the complex will also supply a park where specialty chemical plants will be located. The park will use the cracker's production to develop specialty chemical products (fibers, lubricants, additives, adhesives, etc.).

The investment cost of the Admiral project is estimated at $11 billion.
