Total & Movin’On: Defining Sustainable Mobility Together

Faced with the current health crisis, this year, Movin’On has developed a 100% digital summit, the Movin’On Digital Meetings. Held from June 3 to 4, they bring together sustainable mobility leaders, experts and enthusiasts around two key events: the presentation of the innovative “Movin’On Communities of Interest” projects and the grand finale of the “Movin’On Startup Challenge”.

Although the current health crisis means that travel is not an option for a large part of the world’s population, initiative in sustainable mobility has never been more important. A leading, longstanding player in mobility, Total is as committed as ever to being part of the conversation. That is why, this year again, the Group is partnering Movin’On, a summit devoted to finding concrete solutions to the major challenges of mobility.

Two highlights of the 2020 event are the “Movin’On Communities of Interest” made up of specialists from a broad range of disciplines and sectors working to promote eco-systemic innovation, and the “Movin’On Startup Challenge”, which gives ten startups the opportunity to present their projects to a jury of experts.

These digital meetings showcase the collaboration that has been forged between a hundred or so experts in cutting-edge mobility from a diverse range of backgrounds, from local authorities to corporations, civil society, the world of politics, academia and startups. The primary goal of this cooperation is to advance sustainable mobility projects and develop collaborative innovation in order to transition from ambition to action.

On June 3, Total is contributing as an expert to the community “How to create the conditions to enable wide-scale hydrogen fuel-cell truck adoption and deployment”, led by Alberta Motor Transport Association.

On June 4, as part of the Startup Challenge, the ten most innovative startup finalists for 2020 present their pitch to a jury of experts. Total (Mobility Department of Marketing & Services) is honored to be one of the members of the panel.
